Why ProWeb?

  • Cost.  We started ProWeb because we found that other webmasters wanted an exorbitant amount of money to build a website.  Websites should not make small businesses go broke before they even get started.

At ProWeb, we are committed to building an attractive, informative website as the lowest cost possible.  We charge a flat hourly rate for the work we do.

  • Presentation.  Many webmasters know a lot about computers and programming, but know very little about marketing and making an attractive presentation.  If a website is not visually appealing, it does not matter how well it functions.  Grabbing the viewer’s interest and attention is paramount.

At ProWeb, we focus on presentation.  We strive to make our websites clear, readable, and easy to navigate.  We hope to make each visitor want to navigate through the entire website by presenting information the visitor wants to know on the main page, and then build on that basic information as the visitor moves through the website.  We purposefully design each page in an easy-to-read format.

We also try to include as many photographs as possible to keep the visitor’s interest.  Photographs speak louder than words and often show the visitor exactly what they want to know.

We understand that an attractive, readable presentation is the key to a website’s success.  ProWeb goes to great lengths to make that happen.

  • Maintenance.  Normal monthly website maintenance includes reloading the entire website to the Internet to deter hackers and spammers, checking the size of the website to ensure it is within the designated server space, deleting old emails sent through the website, checking the functionality of website pages, and re-verifying all website assets (photographs, images, etc.) and links.

Because that sounds like a lot of work, many webmasters charge as much as $1,000 per month for website maintenance.  They charge for updating a website on top of that.  There is simply no reason for such exorbitant costs.

Normal maintenance for completed websites should only take a couple of hours per month.  Routine maintenance is billed at our regular hourly rate.  If a business owner wants new material added or changes made, we make those additions or changes at the same hourly rate.  Thus, the business owner is in control of monthly website cost.
